Origami Christmas Decoration Project

Discover the art of origami and enjoy creating beautiful paper Christmas decorations!

This collaboration between BSRV and Guide Dogs Victoria offers a fun and creative way to connect with others who are blind or vision impaired. You will also have support from friendly and dedicated volunteers. Whether you're new to origami or have some experience, everyone is welcome. We will give you step-by-step guidance to ensure you feel confident and supported.

During the workshops, you’ll:

learn basic paper folding techniques
progress to using decorative paper
create a range of festive decorations including cranes, stars, boxes and hearts.

Your final creations will be gifted to a local not-for-profit organisation to help decorate a Christmas tree and spread joy to others.

Feel free to bring your own lunch. Tea, coffee, and sweet treats will be provided at each session.
