Pre-accredited Literacy & Numeracy for Early Childcare Level 1

This foundational course is designed to give you the skills and knowledge to enrol in TAFE, begin a Certificate III Traineeship in Early Childhood Education & Care, or advance your pre-accredited studies by enrolling in the Early Childhood Education and Care: Level 2.

It provides a supportive environment where you gain vocationally relevant skills through practical, hands-on learning activities.

You will learn in a simulated day care setting, covering childcare theory, hands-on practical skills, literacy, numeracy, and employability skills.

• OHS policies and procedures
• Health and wellbeing
• Cultural awareness
• Administration
• Effective communication.

Program length: 80 hours

When you complete this course, you can continue your studies in the Early Childhood Education and Care: Level 2 at Prahran Place.
