Walk with Birrarung

Join Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation for a two-hour guided walk along Birrarung (Yarra River), starting at Como Landing.

This event, part of this years’ Birrarung Riverfest, offers residents the chance to connect with the culture, stories and shared history of the area. Learn about traditional rhythms and relationships between people and places along Birrarung, hear about great local leaders, their resourcefulness and persistent resistance to European settlement and consolidate the value of ongoing and meaningful reconciliation.

This is a free event, but bookings are essential and places are limited.
