Malvern Valley streetscape improvements

Malvern-Valley-improvements-380x250.jpg
Malvern Valley shopping strip in Chadstone Road, Malvern East is being upgraded with Victorian Government funding support.

The new streetscape will create a social space where the community can meet, dine and shop.

In its current form, the walkway in front of the shops is narrow with little space for outdoor dining. The paving is irregular and the street furniture is old and dated. There is limited greenery and the area is dominated by a car park.

Under our proposed plan, the area will be transformed into a people-friendly space. There will be more room for outdoor dining, updated street furniture and more greenery throughout.
