Rotary Inner Melbourne Emergency Relief Network Inc. (RIMERN)

Initiated by Rotary Prahran, RIMERN is a community service and environment project involving 22 Rotary clubs. RIMERN collects donated furniture, appliances and homewares to give to clients as they are assisted into secure housing. Member welfare agencies and programs refer clients to us.

If you have good quality smaller furniture, working appliances, or surplus homewares, we may be able to collect them. We then rehome them for people who have experienced homelessness, domestic violence, refugee displacement, release from jail and other hardships.

RIMERN supports people in inner-Melbourne suburbs. It currently donates 8 to 10 small house lots of home essentials every week. This program is life-changing for our clients and keep tons of usable goods out of landfill.
