Activity Centres Strategy
Neighbourhood Activity Centres are important places for community life. They are the places we go to social, work, live and where we can access local services, shops and community facilities.
We are preparing an Activity Centres Strategy to coordinate planning for Neighbourhood Activity Centres - considering their future economic, community and environmental role.
The strategy will provide a broad framework for all activity centres and will identify a future vision and more focused framework for our Neighbourhood Activity Centres. It will establish a 20 to 30 year framework for the future growth and development of these centres.
Strategy development timeline
