Community transport

The Victorian Government announced of the reintroduction of COVID-19 stage 3 restrictions for six weeks from Thursday 9 July 2020. To keep our community safe, our Alfresco social support program and community transport service are not running. See below for details of our Alfresco - touching base online program.

Bus services

We provide a bus service for residents over the age of 55 years and people who have difficulty accessing public or private transport due to disability or frailty. To find out how to apply for this service visit Accessing Services.

Bus hire is also available for community groups in Stonnington.

Regular bus services

We provide regular transport to and from:

All of our buses are wheelchair accessible. 

We will pick you up from your home and assist you on and off the bus when needed.

In most cases, you'll be able to bring your walking frames and support equipment with you.

For services to shopping centres and libraries, you'll have independence for the duration of the visit and are responsible for getting home if you fail to meet the bus at the designated time.


A small fee of $3.10 is charged for services to shopping centres and libraries. Other regular services are provided free of charge.
