Starting Sunday 9 January over four weekends at Malvern Gardens and Central Park, this film series will promote sustainability alongside free bike health checks, demonstrations and more.

Featuring a program set to ignite the imaginations of both adults and children, Green Screen includes well-loved classics like WALL-E, Dr. Seuss’ the Lorax, Ice Age 2 and the fascinating The Hidden Life of Trees.

Cycle to any of the Green Screen events and receive a free bike health check with Bike It Better, available from 5 pm. You can also stock up on locally made, eco-friendly products with Roving Refills. Clean containers of any size or shape can be used.

Share a picture of your waste-free picnic on social media with the hashtag #GreenScreenPicnic to go into the running for a Naked Foods or Organically Grown voucher. Winners will be announced Monday 31 January.

Green Screen will also feature a short film each Sunday from Environmental Film Festival Australia. These ground-breaking shorts, traverse the relationship between humans and their environments, inspiring us all to discuss, explore and act on important environmental issues.

This event is more than the movies. See you there!
