The City of Stonnington is moving to a new online service system. There may be delays processing applications during the October transition period. Online payments will not be available from Friday 24 October to Monday 27 October.
Most building work you undertake on commercial, industrial and residential developments will require a building permit. Building permits are issued by building surveyors and you can apply through the City of Stonnington’s Municipal Building Surveyor or choose a private building surveyor.
